WOMEN’S DIVISION

WINCHMORE BRANCH There was a fair attendance at the March meeting ot the Winchmore brunch of the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers, when Mrs R. .Jnmieson presided. After the routine business was discussed the delegates to the interprovincial conference at Timaru gave an interesting account of the conference. Nominations were taken for the positions as officers for the annual meeting in April. Competitions resulted:—Best programme for ensuing year, Mrs F. Tiillyer 1, Mi’s- W. King 2; child’s apron. Miss M. .Tones 1, Mrs W. King '2, Mrs IT. King 3; jar of flowers, Mrs 11. King I. Mrs C. Prebble 2, Miss M. Jones 3. Afternoon tea brought a. pleasant function to a close.
