“WHITE ANTING” BY COMMUNISTS
HIGH AUSTRALIAN PARTY OFFICIALS SYDNEY, April 17. A nation-wide probe into subversive activities revealed Communists in unexpected positions, according to the Canberra correspondent of tbe “Sun,” who says that to cloak their activities many Communists have adopted party aliases. - - - - This subterfuge, lie alleges, has been adopted by some high party officials and “white anting” has extended to organisations accepted as reputable by the public. These are described as cultural and educational bodies whose members include judges.
