LOAN REPAYMENT

TINWALD TOWN BOARD DECISION At the monthly meeting of the Tinwald Town Board this week it was decided that the repayment of the proposed street improvements loan of £3OOO should be made by| annual payments, in preference to interest and sinking fund. The chairman (Mr H. B. Millichamp) presided. The Depai’tment of Health advised that Tinwald was now included in the new Timaru Health District. > It was decided to apply to the Main Highways Board to have the portion of Grahams Road and Carters Terrace in the Tinwald Town District declared a main highway. It was resolved to advertise for additional labour to carry out maintenance work in the township.
