HOME SERVICEMEN.

MID-CANTERBURY BRANCH. A comprehensive report ori the Dominion conference at Wellington recently was given by the delegates, Messrs S. W. Kerr and L. M. Livingston, at a meeting of the Mid-Canter-bury branch of the New Zealand Home Servicemen’s Association last evening. A large number of remits were considered during the four days’ meeting. The Dominion secretary advised that the branch’s application for membership had been granted, and the branch had been registered as No. -18. Four new members were elected and Mr A. G. Bright was welcomed to the committee. It was decided to contact members with the object of forming sub-associ-ations at Rakaia and Mel liven. The president (Mr Kerr) presided.
