WAR CABINET
DISSOLUTION ANNOUNCED. |(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 21. The Rt. Hon. P. Fraser announced to-day that with the conclusion of hostilities against Japan the War Cabinet bad unanimously concluded 'that its functions could henceforth be performed by the Government Cabinet, and that therefore it should be dissolved. As a result of this decision the Hon. Adam Hamilton and the Hon. W. .Perry, M.L.C., by mutual consent, and have tendered their resignations to the Governor-General. Mr Fraser paid a warm tribute- to the services rendered by Messrs Hamilton and Perrf, and also recalled and paid a tribute to the services of the late Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates.
