WAR PROBLEMS AND MIGRATION. LONDON, March 30. Although specific problems will be discussed, the Associated Press understands that the forthcoming Empire Prime Ministers’ meetings in London will be chiefly concerned with the broad issues of war strategy and postwar reconstruction. The meetings will not be regarded as an Imperial Conference in the sense as understood before the war, but there will be a full exchange of views on. a variety of subjects. , . Migration will certainly be discussed and Britain is anxious to obtain the Dominions’ views. Britain so far lias been unable to make much piogioss. in this subject with the Dominions, chieily because they will have their own problems in reabsorbing men aiu women of the forces into civil occupations after the war, and cannot yet indicate the extent to which they will be able to foster immigration. Britain on the other hand is anxioii. to gain some early inkling of tie ° minions’ policies because the P elI ° immediately after the war will be important. There are thousands members of the British forces am new awareness of the Dominions, a many already are inquiring about possibilities of overseas settlement.
