VERY PLEASANT CONDITIONS.

The sun shone warmly from an almost cloudless sky at Ashburton today. There was a light northerly breeze, making conditions pleasant. The maximum and minimum temperatures yesterday were 69 and 51.5 degrees, compared with 60 and 48.3 on Tuesday. The barometer registered 29.86 inches to-day, against 29.98 yesterday.
