DELEGATION FROM DOMINION. (P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. A delegation appointed by'the War Cabinet has returned to New Zealand from a / visit to Now Caledonia, Fiji and Tonga. The delegation, which comprised tho Jit. Hon. J. G. Coates, Lieutenant-General E. Plittick, AirCommcdore A, V. Goddard /and Mr C. A. Berendson (secretary to the War * Cabinet) met the authorities who are directing the United Nations’- war effort in. the South Pacific for the purpose of consultation on matters of common concern. The visit also provided an /opportunity for the delegation to meet members of the Now Zealand Forces at various points and to discuss with them their conditions and requirements. The New Zealand troops were everywhere found to. be in good shape and in excellent heart.
