LODGE MEETING.
STAR OF ASHBURTON, U.A.O.D. The fortnightly meeting of the Star of Ashburton Lodge, 1T.A.0.D. was held last evening, the A.D. (Bro. R. Neilson) presiding. . The Bards reported on visits to sick members and sick pay was passed in favour of 10 members. An invitation to attend a. bnck-to-school days evening next Monday was received from the Success of Ashburton Lodge.
As the next lodge night falls on Easter Monday it was decided that the lodge would not meet: At the close of the business a- card match was lvtdd with the Foresters Lodge, the Druids winning by 403 points to 351. Bro. G. D. H. Hefford thanked the Druids on behalf of the Foresters and congratulated them on their win.
