Mr George Warrinor, vfiio will lcavo shortly foy Christchurch, has been presented with a suitcase by members of the Baring Square Methodist Church choir.
A motion of sympathy with Miss R. Porter in the death of her father was carried in silence at: the annual meetihg of the Baring Square .Methodist Church choir.
Mr John Lc»eoh, who lias been transferred to Methvcn, was presented with a wallet by the postmaster (Mr G. E. H. Davis) for fellow employees at the Rangiora Post Office before his departure yesterday.
The Rev. Father R. O’Gorman, formerly of Ashburton, who has been appointed curate of the Rangiora Roman Catholic parish, in place of the Rev. Father J. A. McKay, arrived in Rangiorai yesterday.
The Gazette notifies the appointment of the Mayfield Domain Board as follows: Messrs George. Glassey, iDhnald Duff, William George Ellery, James Blair, Raymond Oakley, Linley Richard Harrison, and James Campbell Winchester.
