The Budapest correspondent of “The Times” says that the German trade delegation, there is. reported to be demanding an increase in the exports of all food,, .especially pigs, for the relief of the dire shortage of fats and meats in Austria and Slovakia.,.. Hungarians ask for payment in coal, but the Germans. are unwilling in * view -of the French threat to the Saar. The Germans are seeking to triple the debt of £40,000,000 which, the Hungarians point out, an ay be acceptable since German holdings in Hungary may be seized in the event of the. defeat of Germany.
