The erection at Heretauuga by theState Housing Department of 10 houses to provide for families living in Trentham Atilitary Camp Hospital and other buildings uoav required for defence purposes appears likely to create another Noav Zealand building .record. The department received its first instructions only a fortnight ago. The contract was let the folloAving day, and the builders began to get the necessary materials on the site next day. Noav, after approximately 10 Avorking days, the houses are nearing completion and Avill lie ready for occupation in a feAV days.
