SEAFIELD BIRTHDAY PARTY. Mrs .7. McDonald, presided at the eighth, birthday meeting of the Scaffold branch of the Women’s Division of the Now Zealand Farmers’ Union. 'Mrs Jv. M. Power demonstrated a permanent waving machine. A gardening talk on taking cuttings was given by Mrs W. Lambic. Mcsdames R. J. Martin, J. Gregory, and F. Johnson reported on the country women’s week hold in Christchurch The birthday cake was made and cut bv Mrs J. Mitchell.
