Six fui'longs. 4 Alloa, 8.8 (Anderson) ... ... 1 I—Amatory, 8.8 (Clifford) 2 7—Stargono, 8.8 (Tattersall) ... 3 All started. Won by a short neck; four lengths between second and third. Time, 1.15 3ST. ANDREW’S HANDICAP, of £250. One mile and a distance. 1— The Buzzer, 8.7 (Morris) ... 1 2 Lone Raider, 7.2 (Broughton) 2 4 Corroboree, 7.0 (Edwards) ... 3 Scratched: Lady Kyra. Won by two lengths; a neck separating second and third. Time, 1.53 4-5. INCREASE IN STAKES. WANGANUI, Nov. 29. The Wanganui Jockey Club has decided to increase the stakes for the autumn meeting by £865 over last year’s total, making £3015 for the two days, in addition to a gold cup valued at £IOO given by Mr G. F. Moore. Practically all the races share the increase.
