ORGANISED LABOUR.
AMERICAN LEADER’S VIEWPOINT (United Press Association—Copyright:) (Received This Day, 1.40 p.m.) WASHINGTON, November 29. Mr Lewis (the Labour leader), predicting that the United. States was entering another “economic tailspin,” told a Union meeting that workers must organise to obtain the right to work when they want to, not when Lord Chrysler wants them to. A militant labour movement was essential because the Government bad develeped a passion for economy, while the employers were turning the workers on to the streets by tens of thousands. The collective voice of labour must be heard in the Legislature, where statesmen sit, talk—-and sometimes think.
