GRAND LODGE

THE ANNUAL COMMUNICATION. PAST GRAND RANK CONFERRED. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, November 24. The annual communication of the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand opened this morning at the Masonic Temple, Grand Master Viscount Galway presiding. Delegates were present from all parts of New Zealand. The Grand Lodge confirmed the unanimous choice by the craft of Viscount Galway as Grand Master for 1937-38. The installation and investiture of the Grand Master and the investiture of the other Grand Officers took place this evening at the Town Hall. Past Grand 'rank was conferred on members of the Grand Lodge (Honoris Causa) as follow: It. W. Stiles, Nelson (Past-Deputy Grand Master); F. T. Hunn, Masterton (Past Provincial Grand Master); It. Hutcheson, Wellington (Past Grand Senior Warden); H. A. Lamb (Past Grand Senior Warden) ; A. H. Herbert, Eketahuna (Past Grand Junior Warden); L. Wright, Ormondville (Past Junior Grand Warden) ; E. H. Harle (Past Junior Grand Warden); E. Lane, Oamaru (Past Junior Grand Warden); 0. M. Johnston, Seddonville (Past Grand Director of Ceremonies); It. Baldwin, Christchurch (Past Grand Director of Ceremonies); T. S. Little, Ngapara. (Past Grand Director of Ceremonies); W. McKinley, Dunedin (Past Assistant Provincial Grand Master); W r . Cowin, Wakefield (Past Grand Deacon); A. Boyd, Kailcoura. (Past Junior Grand Deacon); H. J. Richards, Otaki (Past Grand Standard Bearer).
