The final of the Samoa golf championship was won recently by J. D. Palairet, who defeated C. R. Nettleton, 4 and 3, over 36 holes. Nettleton formerly played cricket in Auckland for the North Shore Club, and up to the time of his departure for Samoa was manager of the Orakei Golf Club.
