DEPORTATION ORDER.

AN INQUIRY IN CEYLON. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) COLOMBO, November 24. The Governor of Ceylon (Sir Andrew Cadecott) has appointed a Commission, headed by the Chief Justice, to inquire into the origin of the issue and subsequent annulment of the deportation order against Bracegirdle. • A cablegram received on May 5 said that the authorities in Ceylon ordered Mr Mark Bracegirdle, who is a young Londoner on a tea plantation and a migrant from Australia, to leave by the liner Mooltou within 24 hours owing to his activities in a local social party which is led by an Indian woman. On May 18 it was reported that the Supreme Court had declared illegal the order for expulsion, and that Bracegirdle had been released.
