SPORTS ATTRACTIONS.
FIXTURES FOR TO-MORROW. The chief sporting attraction in Ashburton tonnorrow is the Ashburton Trotting Club’s winter meeting. ‘.Vinter sports will be played as usual. There will be no senior Rugby at the Showgrounds, and the senior games will be played at Metlwen and Raknia, All senior women’ 3 hockey games will also be played in the country. The matches will be:——-Hinds A v. Hinds B, Tinwnld v. Lowcliffe, Keroone v. Barilng Square, and Methven v. Rakaia. Senior basketball matches in the Do—will be :—*C‘hertsey v. Hi gh School Old Girls, Rokeby v. Convent Old Girls,
’l‘inwald v. St. Stephen’s, Technical 01d Girls A v. Technical Old Girls B. The Ashburton Association Football Club will hold a. practice match in theDomain. 2 The Ashburton Golf Club will play a. flag match, players to sellect their own scorers.
