UNRESERVED WITHDRAWAL, . SEQUEL TO AIR RACE. LONDON, December 16. Captain T. Neville Stack and his assistant pilot, Mr S. L. Turner, who were entrants ip the Melbourne centenary air race, have unreservedly withdrawn their allegations of misrepresentation against Airspeed (1934), Limited, and have agreed to pay the Airspeed company a further £IBSO in a fortnight, and to return the Airspeed Vicerov aeroplane free of all costs. The "judge said that Captain t tack had acted wisely. It was satisfactory that grave charges against a firm of such high standing in the profession should be withdrawn. Captain Stack and Mr Turner sued Airspeed (1934), Limited, asking ior recission of the. hire-purchase agreement on the Airspeed Viceroy aeroplane which they used in the race, and the repayment of £2448, with damages, for alleged breach of contract or mis representation.
