They are the first batch of a new fleet from Armstrong-Whitworths, says the aeronautical correspondent of the “Daily Mail.” The liners, will develop 3600 h.p from four and, will travel at the rate of nearly 200 miles an hour. They. will carry 50 passengers on the Australian and! African routes and will permit a longer range.

The accommodation comprises a lounge, kitchen, bar, large room and a smoke-room, smoking being permitted for the. first time by Imperial Airways. \
