ADVOCACY OF AN INCREASE. PENDING STANDARD RATES. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day ; The Municipal Association of New Zealand at its conference carried a resolution urging that there should be an increase of ten shillings a week m relief pay, pending the bringing down of a scheme to provide relief work at standard rates of pay.
