PERSONAL.
Prior to the opening of the stock sale at the Ashburton yards this morning, reference to the death of Mr Harry Taylor was made by Mr Reg. Smith, on behalfi of the auctioneers. Mr Smith referred to the fact that Mr Taylor was one of the best-known men at the yards, and said that his passing Was regretted by all who knew him. A brief period cf silence was observed out of respect to the memory of Mr Taylor.
