ENTERTAINMENTS.
MAJESTIC THEATRE "They Just Had to Get Married," featuring '"'Slim" Summerville and Zasu Pitts, will have its final screening at the Majestic Theatre to-nighl. Here is a picture which runs the whole gamut of comedy, from biting satire to riotous farce, with a fast pace which at times will haye you literally holding on to the arms of your seat, thrilling with dangerous exploits at the same time j'ou are shrieking with laughter. _ "They Just Had to Get Married." is a comedy classic. The cast appearing in support of Summerville and Miss Pitts includes Rolond Young, Verree Teasdale, Fifi D'Orsay and many other popular screen players. The supporting programme is an excellent one, including several highly informative news reels.
HAKATERE LODGE SOCIAL There was a., good attendance at the fortnightly social conducted by the Hakatere and Daphne Lodges in tlie Tancred Street Hall on Saturday evening and those present spent an enjoyable time playing cards and dancing to music supplied; by the Regal Dance Band. Mr J. Turn bull was M.C. .
