The 24 hours' Grand Prix at the Isle of Man resulted: Nuvolari Summer (Alfa Romeo> was first with 1953£ miles, averaging 81.39 an hour —a record. Varent C'hinetti (Alfa Romeo) 1952.9 miles was second and Lewis Richards (Alfa Romeo) 1889.7 was third. Of the 29 starters 13 finished. Moses (New Zealand) who retired in the first lap of the Senior Tourist Trophy on Friday, was presented with the Nisbet prize for pluck and endurance.
