Exchanges were not specifically mentioned in the discussions by the Economic Commission of the Conference!, but there were numerous inquiries as how they would be affected by any measure of stabilisation.

'The other delegations are disconcerted at Senator Pittman's' denial to-day that the American delegation suggested a reduction of 10 per cent, on import duties.

Dr. A. Hugenberg (Germany) has gone to .Berlin. He denies reports of disagreement with the rest of the delegation and that ho will probably resign from the Hitlev Government, in which he is ; Minister of Commerce and Agriculture, and of National Economy.
