COLONIES WANTED.
CLAIM BY GERMAN MINISTER. *TGHT AGAINST DESTRUCTION. 'United Press Association—Copyright). LONDON, June 17. Dr. Hugenburg, German Minister of National Economy and a member of the delegation to the Economic Conference, has addressed a memorandum to the League of Nations in which he urges Germany's claim for the restoration of her colonies in Africa, Dr. Hugerberg declares that under Herr Hitler's guidance Germany is fighting against the destruction of the West, and refuses to bo destroyed by the lower type of humanity that is developing among Western people. "If Germany goes down," ho says, "others will follow, consequently it is essential to restore Germany's old position as a payer of nternational obligations. ;
"In the first place it is necessary to grant Germany a colonial empire in Africa, enabling Germans to carry out thera works And enterprises which otherwise can'/tit exist." Secondly, -they, must give "the people without space" new areas in which.to settle.
