JERUSALEM, June 18

Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff (leader,,of the Palestine Jews) was assassinated while walking- with his wife at Mel Aviv. .'The murderers were dressed in European clothes. One flashed a torch in the* doctor's eyes and fired thrice, while Mrs Arlosoroff screamed for help. The Government has offered £SOO reward for the capture of the assassins, and the Jewish Agency has added £IOOO.

Dr. Arsosoroff had just returned from Germany, where he investigated the Nazi treatment of the Jews.
