M. HERRIOT AT LYONS.
SOCIALIST VICTORY AT ELECTION
(United Press Association—Copyright). (Received This Day, 1.4-5 p.m.) PARIS, March 2f). M. Herriot has resigned the Mayoralty of Lyons in consequence of a % sweeping Socialist victory at the primary elections for Senators representing the Rhone Department. The victory of the Socialists was due to the breaking Tip of the old .alliance with the Radical Socialists, of which M. Herriot was leader.
