WAIMATE RACES, CONCLUDING EVENTS. (Per Press Association). WAIMATE, This Day. The Waimate Racing Club’s Jubilee meeting was held yesterday in ideal conditions. The attendance, though not of record proportions, was large, visitors being present from a wide area. The totalisator investments for the day were £8340 10s, compared with £9578 10s last year, a very satisfactory result. Concluding results: — Morven Trot.—l Scotty Bingen 1, 1 Prince Wrack (bracketed with winner) 2, 3 Free Logan 3. Scratched: Evening Sun, Locanda Moth. Won by a peck a head between second and third. Time, 3min 28 3-osee. President’s Handicap, of 125 sovs; six furlongs —1 Charmeuse (L. J. Ellis) 1, 4 Caterpillar 2, 5 Impertinence 3. Won by two lengths; a length and a half between second and third. Time, lmin 14sec. Waitangi Hack Handicap, of 100 sovs; one mile—l Some Acre (L. J. Ellis) 1, 3 Royal Limond 2,2 Pharaoh 3. Phar Lap will be withdrawn from all Sydney engagements and will not race again this autumn. Since his return from his spell he has not pleased liis connections, so' he will be given several months’ holiday.
