THE ASHBURTON HOSPITAL.

Sir, —To anybody who lias undergone treatment in the Ashburton Public Hospital it is quite obvious that the services of a better .Medical Superintendent'are not procurable—at least, not in this country. I have been in several hospitals, and have found the staff of this hospital most efficient (one would never dream of the trouble during Board meetings). , It is rumoured that the Medical Superintendent is leaving us. If this is owing to the actions of any member of the Board* —well, I .guess Ashburton electors will know what to do next election. RAMON.
