OLD PUPILS.
ASHBURTON HIGH SCHOOL. (TIP.ISTCHUBCH BRANCH FORMED. (Special to "The Guardian.") CHRTSTCHURCH, This Day. A reunion of old pupils of the Ashburton High School was held last evening in Dixieland. There was an attendance of about 45, Mr C. S. Thomas presiding. Fifteen visitors from Ash burton were welcomed. It \*as decided to form a Christchurch Association. The election of officers resulted:— Patron, Mr E. A. Corkroft (headmaster of the school); president, Mr R. de C Rohilliard; vice-presidents, -Mrs Camm, Messrs V. C. McPhail and C. rt. Thomas; committee, Misses M. Gudsell, K. Bell. M. Wilkinson, Rev. D. Iv. Boyd, Messrs .\. L. Lewis. L. Penny and A. Gillies; secretary, Mr .1. Lane. Mr F;. C. D. Withcll (president ot the Ashinirton Old Pupils' Association) complimented the Cliristehureh oxpupils on their decision to form an association, and expressed the hope that as many members as possible would attend the jubilee celebrations in Ashburton at Easter. Mr J. M. Mcßae detailed the arrangements made for the jubilee. After the business was concluded, an enjoyable social and dance was held.
