. Mr G. F. Fowke, secretary of Hakatere Lodge, 1.0.0. F., and Past District Deputy Grand Master, left to-day for Auckland, to represent Canterbury Central at tne Grand Lodge sessions, which will begin on Tuesday. A Christchurch telegram announces the death c.v Mr. 13. W.. Wade, secretary of the Canterbury Bowling Centre and President last year of the New Zealand Commercial Travellers' | Association, aged 01. Mr H. S. M. Quigley, of Dannevirke, Grandmaster of the New Zealand branch of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows, arrived in Ash.burt.on to-day\ He will pay an official visit to a combined meeting of the Lodges in the Ashburton district this evening.
