A RALLY AT DUNEDIN. (Per Press Association). DUNEDIN, March 11. A thousand Boy Scouts and a thousand Girl Guides took part in a massed rally at Carisbrook to-day on the occasion of the visit of Lord and Lady Baden-Powell. Two hundred and fifty had journeyed by special train from Invercargill and contingents were present from North, South and Central Otago. An effective display of drill, marching, scoutcraft and firt aid attracted spectators between 10,000 and 12,000. ’Lord Baden-Powell addressing the gathering, referred to the groat work done for the Scout movement by Dr. Clennel Fenwick, Dominion Commissioner, and in appreciation ol it presented him with the silver wolf badge, tlie highest decoration the Scout movement can offer.
