MAJESTIC THEATRE. “ Glorifying the American Girl,” showing to-night nncl to-morrow night, is the greatest girl and musical spectacle revue that the talking screen has over brought to movie-goers—greatest because produced and supervised by t '-e greatest combination in the amusement world to-dav —Paramount pictures and Florenz Ziegfeld. Mary Eaton is the leading lady in the production. She was last seen and heard in ‘ The Coeoanuts.” A feature of the picture is the revue scene in which appear Eddie Cantor, Helen Morgan, and Rudy Valleo, each giving a performance of merit. . When "they entertain, the whole world applauds, says a. critic. SILVER BAND CONCERT. Under the conduct or ship of the Bandmaster (Lieutenant H. J. T. Osborne), the Ashburton Silver Band ,gave a concert outside the Hampstead Memorial Hall last evening. There was a good attendance of the public. CONCERT AT TINWALD. ‘‘The Yum Yunnas” concert party gave an enjoyable comedy entitled •"‘Alladin” at- the Timvalcl Town Hall last evening in aid of the Earthquake Relief Fund.
