TWO YOUNG ORPHANS.
JOURNEY TO NEW ZEALAND. (United Press Association—Copyright.) SYDNEY, August 25. Two girls, aged nine and seven, named Diana, and Rosemary Fetch, arrived at Sydney to-day by the liner Hester. They are going to New Zealand. Their "father was formerly the •manager of a large tobacco plantation in Nyassaland, and was stricken with malaria and was seriously ill when their mother was killed by lightning, the father dying as the result of shock, leaving the orphans at tile mercy of the world. Friends located relatives at le Kuiti. The children were looked after by passengers aboard the Hestor. Their grandfather, Mr W. L. Fetch, met them here and will see to their welfare on the voyage to New Zealand. GRANDFATHER AT TE KUITI. TE KUITT, TKIs Day. The father of the two orphans on the Hestor was a son of Mr W. L. Fetch, who was farming at Feildmg for many years, and is now retired and residing with his daughter, Mrs H,. P. Cook, in Te Kuiti. The children will be taken care of by their aunt and grandfather.
