CAR OVER A BANK.
ON RECORD-BREAKING TRIP. OBSERVER KNOCKED SENSELESS (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. While a light car was continuing a record-breaking run from Auckland to Invercargill this morning, it skidded in shingle on Greta Cutting, North Bank. The driver (Mr A. McDonald) was unhurt, but the observer (Mr H. Cutlibertson) was knocked unconscious for 20 minutes. The car was got back on the road under its own power, and proceeded on its journey.
