RETRENCHMENT PLAN.
RAILWAYMEN DISMISSED. (United Press Association— Copyright.) SYDNEY, January 19. The retrenchment of the railway services has beeir responsible for the retirement or dismissal of 2000 employees during the last four months. It is now announced that scores ol others must go because the Government is unable to raise funds to continue its works policy.
