KILLED AFTER RESCUE.

(United Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, December 4.

There was a poignant tragedy at Viewpoint Colliery, Lanarkshire, when two miners were buried by a fall ot 100 tons from the roof. Rescuers, encouraged by hearing a faint voice, reached the'spoi, and saved one miner who was injured. The other was in the arms of a rescuer; and was being o-ivon a drink of water when he saw another fall coining. He said, "Goodbye, boys," and. was struck on the head and killed. ' , The body was again buried.
