NEW ZEALAND PRIZE-WINNERS

(Per Press Association—Copyright.) SYDNEY, March 29. The Royal Agricultural Society’s Easter Show was opened in beautiful weather. Record entries have been received from all the States and New Zealand, the Dominion having a specially fine display in the cattle section. Although to-day was devoted to judging, the attendance already bids fair to create a record. The following are New Zealand iawards:— , Aberdeen Angus cow or heifer, 2yrs j and under 3yrs, D. Allan’s (Wellington) ' Sunbeam of Ben Lomond, 2. Heifer, lyr and under ‘Jyrs.—D. Allan’s Twinkle of Ren Lomond, 1 and reserve champion. Shorthorn bull, 3yrs and under 4yrs. White’s (Canterbury) Langley Peer 111, -1, and L. White’s Langley Prince 2. Cow or heifer, 2yrs and under 3yrs.— 'J. Burgess (Wellington), ’Lady Doninington 1. Fat cattle, any breed or cress.-r-Fat >ox,' not exceeding five years: Wright, -Stephenson Company (Wellington), 1. Friesians.—Reserve Champion cow: Bloomfield Farm Company’s (Wellington) Willow vale Galatea Segis. Cow, -4yrs old and over, in calf dry: Bloomfield Farm Company’s Willowyale GalaVfcea Segis.

Fat Cattle, any breed or cross.—Pen of three fat oxen, not exceeding five years, F. Armstrong’s Aberdeen Angus Ist. In the Friesian section the New Zea-land-bred bull Erbo Porch, of Oakview, and the cow, Joanna. Mercedes, of Lydholm, pained championships. A number of other New Zealand-bred animals obtained prizes.
