(Per Press Association —Copyright.) (“Sun.”) (Received This Day, 2.5 p.mj V PARIS, March 29. The Chamber of Deputies, by 268 votes to 265, voted for a Socialist amendment reducing the. Moroccan and Syrian credits of one million francs. The Premier (M. Briand), while not insisting on a vote of confidence, emphatically affirmed that abandonment of activities in Morocco and Syria would precipitate, massacre and misery.
