Mails close at Ashburton as follow:-^ For northern ports on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and .'Saturdays, at 5 p.m.; late fee letters 5.25 p.m.; guard's van 5.43 p.m. For northern ports on Mondays, Wednesdays., and Fridays, at 2.45 p.m.; late fee letters 3.10 p.m.; guard's van 3.32 p.m. OUTGOING OVERSEA MAILS. The next beet despatch for Great Britain, Ireland, Continent of Europe, and Monte Video (specially addressed correspondence only), will be per Port Melbourne, closing at Ashburton on Monday. Mails for Monte Video per Kia Ora, close at Bluff on Monday at 2 p.m. Mails for Great Britain, Ireland, Continent of Europe, and Central America, via Pitcairn Island and Panama (specially addressed correspondence only)> per Te Koa. at Wellington, close at Ashburton on Tuesday. The next despatch for correspondence addressed to Great Britain, Ireland. Continent of Europe, and U.S.A.. will be via Vancouver, per Niagara, closing at Ashburton on August 1. Mail due London September 2. INCOMING OVERSEA MAILS. (Approximate dates only.) Kaituna left Melbourne for Dunedin on July 22. She has 12 bags of mail and five parcel receptacles for Christehurch. Due Ashburton about Monday.
