BOXING. DWYER BEATS BLACKBURN. GISBORNE,. July 24. The professional welter-weight contest between Hughio Dwver (Astralia) and Clarrie "Blackburn (New Zealand welterweight champion) went the full distance. The result was a win for Dwyer on points. Dwyer's cleverness was in evidence throughout, but the contest lacked features of a. thrilling character, beinf at times very uninteresting.
