THE PRESENT EPIDEMIC. PREVENTIVE MEASURES. It is the duty of every parent and every citizen to do the utmost to stamp out this epidemic that is causing untold suffering amongst the children. And as it seems inpossible to cure Infantile Paralysis, the only alternative is prevention. Doctors agree that in the first instance the germs of the disease attack the mucous membranes, and are then absorbed into the system. If the mucous membranes of all children can be impregnated against the germs, then the Infantile Paralysis Epidemic will soon be only an unpleasant memory. The surest method of rendering the throat and nasal passages safe against infection is to administer “Pulmonas at frequent intervals. “Palmonas” are pastilles, which when placed in the mouth give off antiseptic vapours of a •very powerful nature.
