MR KIRKWOOD REINSTATED
PREMIER’S MOTION CARRIED
LONDON, March 10. The House of Commons unanimously carried the motion moved by Mr Baldwin terminating Mr Kirkwood’s suspension.
THE BRITISH BUDGET.
LONDON, March 11. The “Morning Post” forecasts that tho Budget will be introduced in the House of Commons on April 28th.
RETRENCHMENT IN IRAK.
LONDON, March 11. It is understood that the object of the visit of Mr Amerv (Colonial Secretary) and Sir Samuel Hoare to Irak is a reduction in expenditure. The whole question of Irak finances is under revision.
CONCERT BROADCASTED
LONDON, March 11. It is estimated that more than ten millions heard Tetrazzini broadcast from London. She was heard over the whole country, and her voice was picked up at Pittsburg and New York as well as on ships.
