AUCKLAND, January 29. .. The Takapuna Jockey Club's meeting was concluded to-day. The j weather was fine, and there was a re- j cord attendance. The totalisator investments were £88,317, which gave a grand total of £144,641 for the meeting, an increase of £11,377 compared with last year. Concluding results:- — Hobson Handicap, of 450 soys; six furlongs—Namutere 1, Marble Crag 2, Loyal Irish 3. Won by a length and a half. , Time, lmin 16 3-ssec. Rangitoto Handicap, of 250 soys: nine furlongs—Clonmal 1, Miss Norval 2, Sir Huon 3. Won by three lengths. Time, lmin 56 3-ssec. Waiwera Hurdle Handicap, of 300 soys; one mile and three-quarters — Multiplane 1, Tenacious 2, Thrace 3. Won by a short head, with the third horse another head away. Time, 3min 21 4-ssec. Anniversary Welter Handicap, of 500 soys; seven furlongs—Gold Kip 1, Bute Sound, 2, Esthonia 3. Won by half a length; v.. length between second, and third. Time, lmin 28 3-ssec. i
