32 WOMEN MURDERED.
During thopast 18 months 42 women have been reported as missing to the police at Alexandria, Egypt. Recently six houses have been searched, and the bodies of 32 women, have been discovered m the cellars. JUfghteen arrests have been made. Ten corpses were found m. one room m the house of a woman named Sekina, who has confessed her responsibility for most of the murders. The police believe that there have been numerous murders of a hke nature covering a period of from four to live years past. It was supposed that the women were killed for the sake of their jewellery, but the murderers apparently made no proiit out of their crimes, as they were living m the most wretched conditions.
