It is hoped that a second crop of berries will shortly be available for Ashburton. The following prices were ruling at Mr H. Stephenson'a auction rooms Saturday: — Apricots and peaches, 5d (dessert) andj 4d (cooking); apples, 3d, Tomatoes, Is 2d per' lb ; potatoes, 2d; onions, 2d; French beans, 4£d per lb.
