-^- A pheasant struck by the radiator cap of a motor car on the Great North Road, near Scotch Corner, m Yorkshire, flew m the face of the driver. The blow partly stunned and temporarily blinded him, causing him to lose control of the car, which became em- '■ bedded m a ditch, and was badly dam- \ aged. A passing motorist rescued the driver and his party. ' j
