PERSONAL.
♦ Mr Charles Morrison, County Engineer, has returned to his duties to-day after his recent indisposition. Colonel G. F. C. Campbell, secretary to the Treasury, who was offered by the Government the post of Public Trustee, cannot, it is stated, see his way to accept the position. Mr Massey j states that the appointment of the new Public Trustee has not yet been decided by Cabinet.
